I’ve always been drawn to health, wellness, and fitness — but for many years, I was a fair-weather participant. I lived a fast-paced life in New York City, working in finance for a decade, constantly pushing, achieving, and moving. After getting married, relocating to Boston, and having two beautiful daughters, I began to feel a quiet but persistent sense that something was off. The life I had built no longer felt rewarding.

Then COVID hit.  I found myself deeply unhappy, 60 pounds heavier, and relying on habits that left me feeling further from myself. In 2021, I decided enough was enough. I stopped the bad habits and began slowly, intentionally rebuilding my life through small, sustainable changes — more movement, prioritizing sleep, improving nutrition, and progressively increasing my exercise routine.

 

Within four months, I lost 40 pounds, but more importantly,

I regained my energy, clarity, and sense of self.

​

That experience changed everything.

​

It inspired me to create Gatehouse, where I now support others in cutting through the noise of life, living more skillfully and engaging more fully in the movement of their lives. Through personalized coaching that blends fitness, yoga, and nutrition, I help clients build wellness practices that truly align with who they are — so they can feel at home in their bodies and their lives.
